Estrella is a Spanish casino, with a name that means ‘star’ – but do they shine brightly like their namesake? Well to start, they have over 600 games from a large variety of providers. This includes an extensive selection of localised live dealer games in a range of European languages.

They are licenced by the gaming commission of Curacao, which isn’t the most highly rated regulator out there.

While this in itself isn’t a reason to discount the site, users should be aware that Estrella may not be the most intensely regulated online casino in the market. Aside from that though – they do pretty well!

The quality can vary between the different providers, but the quantity is definitely there and Evolution and Authentic in particular can be relied upon to offer solid and smooth running games. On top of that they also have some lesser known titles such as the live casino lottery games from BetGames.TV. These didn’t look that great in all honesty, but you’re unlikely to find them at many other online casinos so they might be worth a look in just for that!

Localisation/Native Tables

It is in localised live casino tables that Estrella has its main strength. 11 live roulette tables in all, most supplied by Evolution Gaming so they come in impeccable quality. These include: Spanish, Swedish, Greek, Danish, French, Russian, German, Turkish and Flemish.

Out of all of these, French is one of the rarest you will find. Just don’t get it confused with the French variety of roulette, which is available pretty much everywhere. A live croupier speaking in French, however is not! Ezugi brings up the rest of the pack, with Spanish and Turkish live dealer blackjack. The site is also available in English and Spanish, which is nice for online gambling Spaniards.

Private Tables

As far as we could see Estrella Casino had no Estrella branded private tables, but they do have the exclusive DublinBet branded tables from their sister company. While slightly incongruous with the rest of the site, at least players might catch the same exclusive offers and promotions – so its worth checking out! On top of that they also have Salon Privé tables from Evolution Gaming.

These are a fairly new concept in the online casino game that allow true VIP users to play at a completely private table uninterrupted by other users and with the complete attention of your live dealer. But be aware, the minimum bet on these is often pretty high!

Mobile

As of the moment Casino Estrella doesn’t have a dedicated mobile app, but the mobile site works well enough on iOS and Android. To be honest, apart from those by Evolution, many of the live games didn’t look as high quality as you might find on other sites.

They were definitely playable, and some of them were rare titles you might not find anywhere else, but it certainly wasn’t the smoothest mobile casino site we’ve played at. Whilst there were no major hang ups like glitches and crashes, Estrella’s mobile site could easily have been designed for a more user friendly experience.

Estrella’s banking options cover a pretty good range when it comes to the methods available (PaySafe Cards, Skrill, Netteller, Visa, Mastercard, Entropay, Trustly, Bitcoin & more) but to be frank their withdrawal times were a let-down. While researching their site, we only came across a vague commitment to process withdrawals ‘as soon as possible’. Other third party sites seem to suggest that most withdrawals take 5-7 days and that concurred with our experience too. This was overly slow compared to the instant or 1-3 days offered by most other online casinos.
