Ezugi and PointsBet Announce New Ontario Live-Dealer Partnership

Ezugi has unveiled a new partnership with PointsBet, strengthening its expansion across the Canadian live-casino market and adding more specialised local content for online players in Ontario. The collaboration was announced across Ezugi’s official channels, with the company confirming that its portfolio of live-dealer titles will now be available to PointsBet customers in the province.

The initial announcement noted: “Ezugi is pleased to announce a new partnership with PointsBet, one of Canada’s leading iGaming operators!” The company added that “PointsBet’s Ontario customers will gain access to Ezugi’s localised and specialty live-dealer titles, such as Canada Blackjack, EZ Baccarat, and Ultimate Roulette.”

Ezugi provided further details in its official release, stating that its content will be added to PointsBet’s online casino via Evolution’s One Stop Shop (OSS) platform. As the studio explained, “Ezugi’s localised and specialty live-dealer titles will be integrated into PointsBet’s Ontario online casino via Evolution’s One Stop Shop (OSS) platform.”

The collaboration also marks another step for Ezugi within Evolution’s broader live-gaming ecosystem. Part of Evolution since 2018, Ezugi highlighted that it “continues to strengthen its presence in the live gaming market.”

The operator receiving the content, PointsBet, initially launched in Australia in 2015 before growing into North America. Ezugi’s statement noted that the brand “has rapidly become one of Ontario’s fastest-growing iGaming operators,” recognised for its sportsbook and expanding casino offering. PointsBet’s strong emphasis on customer protection was also cited, describing the operator as “dedicated to providing an exceptional player experience with a strong emphasis on Responsible Gaming to ensure a safe and secure environment for all users.”

Both companies issued comments regarding the new integration and its expected impact on Ontario players.

From PointsBet, Brooke Hilton, Head of Casino at PointsBet Canada, said in the LinkedIn announcement: “This partnership enhances our casino offering with dynamic, localised live-dealer titles, supporting our commitment to safe, premium player experiences.”

In the official press release, Hilton added: “We’re excited to partner with Ezugi to bring their innovative live-dealer games to our Ontario players. This integration via Evolution’s platform enhances our casino offerings with dynamic, localised titles like Canada Blackjack and Ultimate Roulette, ensuring a premium, responsible gaming experience that aligns with our commitment to player safety and enjoyment.”

Ezugi also commented on the significance of the deal. James Smith, Commercial Strategy Manager at Ezugi, stated on LinkedIn: “Ontario is a key growth region, and partnering with PointsBet marks an important step in bringing Ezugi’s unique live-casino content to North American players.”

Through this partnership, PointsBet Ontario customers will gain access to several of Ezugi’s headline specialty titles.
